Happy Monday! How was your weekend? I had a great weekend! On Friday, my Wi-Fi was acting up which explains my late H54F post. My Saturday was spent accomplishing lots of things that I had on my to-do list. I started sewing a cute t-shirt dress, but after some failed attempts at a seemingly easy step, and some googling, I realized that I needed elastic thread which I don't have. Needless to say, I will probably get around to finishing it on Saturday. I also got a TON of blogging stuff done.
Sunday, I spent the day with my mom making her lunch, dessert, and just spending quality time with her. I also got a new blogging binder done which will be coming to the blog soon. Stay tuned!
I wore this dress yesterday for Mother's Day. I included this dress in my capsule wardrobe because I wanted something for church that was bright and fun. Also I have a few places that I need to wear a dress like this to. It is not going to be the easiest dress to remix, but I'm totally up for the challenge!
Another capsule wardrobe challenge: church outfits. I included a skirt, this paisley dress, and a grey dress, but I hope not to wear the grey dress at all because I have a week-long thing that I will have to wear it for a good bit, so I don't want to wear it too much so that it will be guaranteed to not get soiled. I do look forward to the challenge of coming up with church outfits, though. I always love a good remix!
Oh, and tomorrow is my first Style Snippets post. I will be posting how to create the perfect outfit for any occasion every time. I'm super excited! Come back tomorrow to find out how!
