PANTS: Old Navy (similar, similar)
BOOTS: (similar, similar)
NECKLACE: Charming Charlie (similar, similar)

This outfit is one of my favorites mainly because it is so simple, yet it's not at all boring. The colors in this top are absolutely my favorite because they can be worn for Christmas, but it doesn't scream Christmas, so it can be worn at any time. This shirt pretty much stands alone.

I added my black skinnies and black ankle boots and then topped the outfit off with a super sparkly statement necklace.

Do you have any pieces of clothing in your wardrobe that are so interesting that they stand alone well? What are they?

Now, let's get to the link up!

1. Nicole from Courage Hope Love linked up a super great and helpful post on how to calm an anxious heart. Personally, I struggle with anxiety, so I found this post extremely helpful and inspiring.

2. Becky from byBMG shared a post on her first Stitch Fix. I have loved Stitch Fix for a while and I love reading other's reviews. All of the pieces that she got are so cute!

Olive + Leopard & Grace + Lace Link Up

Happy Monday, you guys! As much as I like the break and holiday's, I am kind of glad to be getting back into the swing of things. I am the type of person who really likes routine, so I don't really mind getting back into it.

Today, I have for y'all an outfit that I shot when it was snowing on Saturday, and a new link up is live! {We are finally getting back into it.}

Also, sorry for the pixelated pictures. For some reason when I resize my iPhone photos, they get really pixelated.

Outfit details:
TOP: Kohl's (similar, similar)
JEANS: Old Navy (exact, similar)
CARDIGAN: JC Penney (exact, similar)
SCARF: Target (similar, similar)
BOOTS: Target (similar, similar)

Originally, I wore this outfit with my lace up booties {here} but when I shot this outfit, it was snowing outside and snow and suede don't mix. 😉 So, I just wore my black ankle boots instead.

I love the way the olive shirt looks with the tan cardigan. And then I added my leopard scarf which kind of brought the whole outfit together.

Now onto the link up!

Since we haven't had a link up for past few Monday's, we have no one to feature. But next week, we definitely will!

7 Reasons Why You Should Donate to Dressember + a Simple Outfit & Grace + Lace Link Up

Happy Monday! I hope your weekend was amazing! I spent mine resting, and on Saturday, I volunteered at the Operation Christmas Child Processing Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. I had a super great time! I highly recommend it!

Today, I've got a super cute outfit, and  reasons why you should donate to Dressember for y'all! Also, a new link up is live at the bottom of the post! 😊

DRESS: Old Navy {similar, similar}
VEST: Clothes Mentor {similar, similar}
BOOTIES: JC Penney {exact, similar}
NECKLACE: Charming Charlie {similar, similar}

So, you may be thinking, "Why should I donate to Dressember?". You should donate to Dressember....

1| …because an estimated 600,000 to 800,000 people are trafficked across international borders every year, 80% of which are women and half are children.

2| …because the average teen enters the sex trade in the US in 12-14 years old.

3| …because 83% of victims in confirmed trafficking incidents were identified as US citizens.

4| …because many victims of trafficking are runaway girls who were sexually abused as children. Haven’t they already been through enough?!

5| …because there are more slaves alive today than at any other point in history.

6| …because every 30 seconds someone is trafficked, and less than 2% of those who are trapped in slavery are ever rescued.

7| …because last year, instances of human trafficking were reported in all 50 U.S. states and Washington D.C.

Those seven reasons {there are so many more, though} are why you should donate to Dressember. The money that you give goes to perform rescue operations to free those enslaved. They are also put into counseling programs and programs that get them back on their feet and into a job. You don't have to give much; it all adds up. If we all do a small part, and work together, we can change the world.

If God leads you to donate, you can do so here.

The trick to looking your best while still being comfortable after so much food is to wear stretchy knits or layers that cover up your food baby. I also think that tunics work great as well. Wearing colors that are festive and match the season is one of my favorite things to do. I have not decided what I am going to wear for Thanksgiving this year yet, but I know it will include something super stretchy! 😉

What are you looking forward to the most for Thanksgiving?

Pale Pink + Puffer Vest & Grace + Lace Link Up

Happy Monday, y'all! I mentioned here that I was going on a blogging break. However, I am still going to publish my link up posts because I love you guys! Also, don't worry; this break will not last long at all! Just a week or two.

I wore this outfit a few weeks ago and it was still too hot outside to wear it, but I just wanted to wear fall clothes, so I did anyway. ;) And, I took these photos at one of my favorite local parks. There is just something about secluded parks during fall, don't you think?

During the summer, I picked up this vest at my local Clothes Mentor for under $4! When I saw it, I knew I had to purchase it. I had been wanting a vest for a while and at under $4, I couldn't pass it up.

It was fairly easy to style it because it is neutral which makes it super versatile. Pink and navy is one of my favorite color combos, so it was a no-brainer for me to pair this vest with this top. By adding my favorite flats, I completed the look.

Let's get to the link up!

2. Rosie from Life is Just Rosie shared a cute outfit with a lovely sweater that she has been wanting for a while. I love the lace hem and isn't the scenery gorgeous?!
