Happy Tuesday! I am so happy today! Why? Because after countless days of rain and gloomy weather, TODAY IS SUNNY! I am looking out my window right now, and enjoying the beautiful, cloudless sky!
Today I am linking up with Anne at In Residence, and Shea at Shea Lennon for their Your Spring Style Link-up. Your Spring Style is a link-up that they have been doing every week this April, showcasing their spring transitions, spring essentials, spring inspirations (today's), and spring celebrations (next Tuesday's). I posted my spring essentials here.
When I look at my Clothes board on Pinterest, I see a lot of grey, interesting patterns (especially stripes), street style looks, and effortless, simple, all-neutral outfits. Like I mentioned here, I am really gravitating towards all-neutral looks.
Here is a look made out of some of my Spring inspirations:
Outfit details:
Jeans: Old Navy (exact, very similar)
This outfit was inspired partly by my Pinterest board, but also inspired by Kacie from Elements of Ellis. I was inspired by her all-neutral looks. She always looks so great in them, and I wondered if I could pull it off. So, then I came up with this outfit.
Some might think that all-neutral outfits are boring, but I think the opposite. When you wear textures, patterns, and details like buttons and embellishments, the outfit cannot be boring. It becomes interesting when you add those things. Accessories also add interest to outfits.
I am also really gravitating toward loose tops + skinny jeans + flats. I don't know what it is, but all I want to wear is that outfit formula lately.
What is something that is inspiring your Spring outfits?
