Happy Wednesday! This shirt was a hand-me-down, and I never actually liked it. More accurately: I hated it! I thought that it was really ugly. I thought that it was the wrong color, shapeless, and that it looked either like a grandma's shirt or a toddler's shirt. Boy, was I wrong!
Contrarily, I now love it! I love the buttons and ties, and can't believe what I used to think about it. I think that one reason why I kept on hating it for a while was that at first I was so adamant about its unattractive-ness. I am pretty stubborn, so this is typical. I was so stubborn about it being ugly, that I never took any time to try and see what its good qualities were.
I believe that I started liking it when I saw lots of loose tops with cute details. Having a small budget, I knew that I wouldn't be able to buy one. And then, pretty magically actually, I came up with a cute outfit that I felt great in.
Moral of the story: don't be so stubborn that you never stop to see the possibilities or the good in something (or someone). Try to refocus, and reflect on why you hated it in the first place. Then, maybe, you can see all of it's (or their) good qualities.
Have a good rest of your Wednesday!
