Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Mine was so nice! Today, I have a trip packing guide for your most effective suitcase:
The best way to save space in your suitcase is to pack a a few pieces that can be remixed and made into many outfits. Here is a snapshot of what I would pack in my suitcase clothes-wise:
graphic tee,
swing dress,
gingham top,
chambray tee,
leather jacket,
skinny jeans,
cardigan,
black skinny jeans,
leopard flats,
chevron scarf,
leopard scarf,
converses.
Just a side note: the leopard scarf is just an extra scarf. I didn't use it in the outfits that follow.
My packing capsule includes:
- two tee/regular shirts,
- one dress,
- one button down because it can be worn as a completer piece or as a top,
- two completer pieces,
- two pairs of shoes,
- and one scarf.
Obviously, I didn't count exercise clothes, pajamas, undergarments, or jewelry in my capsule.
You must make sure that all of your pieces are very easily remixable. Notice that most of the clothing in my capsule is neutral colored. Packing mostly neutrals allows more room in your suitcase, and it makes it easier to get dressed each morning. You can always add color with a necklace or other kinds of jewelry if you do not want to wear an all neutral outfit.
Also, even though I didn't include jewelry in the capsule, I only used three necklaces in the following outfits.
The following outfits I made out of this packing capsule. There are ten outfits which means that I made ten different outfits out of seven pieces of clothing.

When traveling, always make sure to bring the least amount of clothes as possible by packing pieces that are easy to mix and match.
