Outfit details:
Jeans: Old Navy (exact, very similar)
Happy Monday! How are y'all? How was your weekend? Mine was great! Like I mentioned here, I celebrated my birthday on Saturday. I decided that I wanted a whole day with everything that I wanted, including meal choices. I started the day off with strawberry and chocolate crepes. Mmmmm, yum! Then we got ready and went out to go mini golfing. Let's just say, I am not the best put-putter. :) Then we ate our packed lunches and headed to Old Navy. We then went to Nordstrom Rack, which is a new addition in my area. I was kind of surprised by how low the prices were. I'll definitely go back there again. Next we went to the mall. Within the mall, I went to Charming Charlie, Dazzle Up, Francesca's, and Chick-fil-a, where we got ice cream. We, then, headed home. After a couple of hours, we had chicken wraps and watched the movie, God's Not Dead. And, lastly, we ate chocolate chocolate chip cake layered with whipped cream and cheesecake, and topped with chocolate ganache. Oh my goodness! So yummy! We ate the cake out by the fire pit. If that doesn't sound like a great birthday, I don't know what does. :) Needless to say, I had a great Saturday.
Also, I will highlight what I got while we were shopping, on Friday in my usual High Five for Friday post. Be sure to lookout for that.
I wore this outfit to church a couple of Sundays ago. It was a bit more casual than I usually wear, but I really wanted to wear this new jewelry. I thought at first that it would look a little too black, but the shoes and the jewelry actually brightend it up quite nicely.
What did you do over the weekend? What do you do to brighten up your dark and drab outfits?
